All-Ireland Irish Dancing Championships taking place in Killarney

Competitors from around the globe have gathered at the INEC to compete in the 2015 Oireachtas Rince na h-Éireann, All-Ireland Dancing Championships. Irish Dancing shoes The Irish dance event – which runs in Killarney until Saturday – is organised by An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha and is expected to bring in excess of 1,800 competitors and 7,000 spectators to Kerry. The event, established in 1932, is the longest running major competition in the Irish dance calendar. It will also act as an international qualifying event which offers competitors the opportunity to qualify the for the Irish Dancing World Championships, which will be held in Glasgow in 2016.
