AIB branch at the Horan Centre in Tralee to close

The inadequacy of the building which houses the AIB in the Horan Centre is sited as the main reason for its closure next month. All services have now been transferred to the Castle Street branch. AIB says to replace the current building which is not owned by the bank would not be viable.Kieran Mahon Regional Director of AIB in Kerry says although business has grown at the bank, banking practises have changed and the number of customers actually going into the bank is reduced. They hope to maintain the ATM machine in Clash. He says there are plenty of alternatives on offer.
