80 Kerry children have had wishes granted through Make-A-Wish Ireland. Since the organisation began in 1992 80 children in Kerry battling life-threatening medical conditions such as cancer, brain tumours, cystic fibrosis and cerebral palsy have had wishes granted. Make-A-Wish is totally funded by public donations and supported by volunteers. The organisation is holding a fundraising day on April 8th.
