40 Farmers enter Bank Of Ireland in Killarney

Up to 40 farmers have entered The Bank Of Ireland in Killarney. The farmers claim they are conducting regular banking business, such as looking for change. Earlier today the bank secured an injunction preventing the IFA from picketing, trespassing and creating a nuisance at any branch of the bank. Farmers want the bank to contribute to a hardship fund for those affected by the collapse of Tralee Beef And Lamb three years ago. However the bank says it has no legal responsibility in the matter but will look sympathetically at any farmer customer`s case.
