40 children from Belarus are due to arrive in the county later this afternoon as part of a project organised by the Chernobyl Children`s Fund. Its one of the largest groups ever brought to Kerry in 11 years of links between the two countries. The 40 children will stay with host families in the Tralee and Castlegregory areas. They will all receive blood screening while on holiday in Ireland. Almost 600 children from Belarus have visited Tralee in the last 11 years as part of this project.
