The owner of the land that`s the centre of a row over plans to build a thirty five bed roomed hotel in Ventry is claiming to have gathered over 200 signatures in support of the development. The planning application which has been granted by Kerry County Council is now with An Board Pleanala. Over thirty objections and submission had been lodged with the local authority in opposition to the project. Kathleen O Shea says the hotel would do much to enhance visitor numbers to the village.
