20 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Kerry today

Twenty patients are waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Kerry today.

That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, which also show there were 10 patients on trolleys there yesterday.

There’s a total of 514 people on trolleys in emergency departments and on wards in hospitals across the country today.


University Hospital Cork has the highest number at 47, while there are 28 at University Hospital Limerick.
