There are two new cases of the Winter Vomiting Bug at Tralee General Hospital. It means restrictions will have to stay in place for another 72 hours at least. Two patients in the long-stay unit have developed the symptoms in the last 24 hours. Only next-of-kin adults will be allowed visit the Loher ward until Wednesday. Ten days ago, the Southern Health Board confirmed that five patients were affected by the virus. This increased to fourteen patients and five staff last week, but stabilised in the run-up to the bank holiday week-end.
