There are 15 patients on trolleys at Kerry General Hospital today, according to the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation. The INMO compiles the figures each day on the number of people awaiting treatment in the nation’s hospitals. According to the union, of the 15 at Kerry General; seven are awaiting treatment in wards. The Health Service Executive doesn’t dispute these figures. Nationally, there are 461 patients on trolleys today.
